Its not been a month since TMC’s heavy weight leader Suvendu Adhikari lefts party to join BJP. Nandigram is the same ground which witnessed the rise of Trinamool Congress and paved the path of Mamata Banerjee to the throne of Chief Minister. Suvendu Adhikari has been a prominent face at Nandigram since beginning. He also played an important role in the uplifting of TMC. He was in the lead to wipe out the CPIM from the region in 2016 elections. Nandigram has sowed the political career for both Mamata & Suvendu. Already the election heat started warming up in this chilling cold of winter.
By the sudden rise of BJP in West Bengal, Trinamool was already facing a tough time. This trouble was added on with the migration of its leader to BJP one by one. In Mamata Banerjee’s today’s rally at Nandigram, she announced that, she herself is going to fight this elections against Suvendu Adhikari. Nandigram is now no longer fixed seat of Suvendu after this announcement. TMC’s existing leaders were fearing weather they’ll win in the next election or not. To finally kill this fear Trinamool Congress’ supremo, Mamata decided to stand against Suvendu. No doubt it’s going to one of the toughest election in Bengal till date. It’ll not be wrong if said once again Nandigram’s going to decide the rule in Bengal.
Trinamool Congress’ face and CM candidate, Mamata Banerjee has taken a bold and daring decision. Now the party’s fate is entirely depending on her victory or failure. With the next sunshine, and the headlines of Daily Bulletin, this fuss will enter in every small & big talks.
